Job description

Buxton seeks an account executive for its Fort Worth-based office who possesses strong consultative and solutions-based sales skills, analytical ability and a strong desire to help drive strong business results for our clients. Buxton’s business has been growing at a rapid rate and we are looking for energetic, entrepreneurial talent who can help accelerate our growth. The Account Executive will support and grow the current revenue associated with existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior team members to conduct client needs assessments, and match Buxton’s products and services to solve for the clients most pressing business issues.
  • Prepare senior team members with client business intelligence and meeting information and materials.
  • Assist in educating clients on additional solutions and ensuring clients are taking full advantage of the solutions delivered.
  • Assist in communicating the value of Buxton’s real estate and marketing services solutions, as well as providing support for client questions about solutions already delivered.
  • Coordinate all sales efforts through senior team members and salesforce.com.
  • Travel to client/prospects locations throughout the year with senior team members.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience selling conceptual services or managing client relationships with mid-size company senior executives.
  • Proven ability to understand business opportunities and translate those into high-impact solutions.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Business-oriented, strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
