Job description

Responsibilities include - Management & Development of client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients. Building and managing a network of providers to deliver end solution to the clients. Developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. Making connections with key business executives and stakeholders. Responsible for oversight of the Account Managers assigned to your team. Direction and follow up daily to the Account Managers to ensure communication, expectations, margin, customer service standards and team cohesion and adhesion are met. Must be Project Management interchangeable.

Essential Duties -

1) Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients. Work with the Account Manager once the rhythm and the on-boarding of the client is complete to perform the daily maintenance and follow up.

2) Manage client accounts to help meet service level goals and maintain up-to-date information in an organized, effective manner. Be the driving force in daily routine building and organization with the Account Management Team.

3) Develop, maintain and communicate a client account plan including account revenue, profitability, cost savings. Coach the Account Manager to look for trends and changes in the business and to partner with you to develop plans on how to correct course as needed.

4) Assist clients through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings. Help develop the Account Manager to deliver these expectations in the absence of the Account Manager.

5) Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives. Calibrate the Account Manager to the individual client needs during the account transition.

6) Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

7) Assist Account Manager with monthly reporting, coordinate with account Manager members to validate data for monthly reporting. Work with the Account Manager to build out continuing reporting to complete the margins on the project portfolio.

8) Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis utilizing the Account Manager.

9) Responsible for working with the Sales Team to on-board and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships. Coach the Account Manager on sales approaches and how to integrate these approaches into the day to day workings with the client Project Managers and contacts.

10) Act as liaison between the client and internal Account Managers.

11) Any other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities -

1) Proven work experience as an Account manager, Key Account Manager, Project Manager/Coordinator or other relevant experience.

2) Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

3) Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).

4) Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs.

5) Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

6) Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

7) Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

8) BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.

9) Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.

10) Solid coaching and mentor skills.

11) Personal management skill set.

12) Supervise, coach and develop the Account Manager to grow into a Senior Account Manager.
