Job Overview

 



AD&M is seeking an experienced and savvy Technical Account Manager to join our sales team in the Eastern United States region. The Technical Account Manager will be a leader, guiding the sales efforts for the Aerospace marketplace. In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for new design as well as the replacement of competitive products at the component and value-added solutions level.  As a Technical Account Manager, you will also interface with Purchasing on pricing and contracts, engage with engineering to gain print position and coordinate with business associates covering contract manufacturers.  



 



Key Responsibilities



 





•    Generate and foster productive and supportive working relationships within established accounts. Work to partner with customers by offering technological problem-solving solutions and managing the quality and delivery metrics required by the customer.     



•    Identify current and future customer opportunities and requirements. Utilize TE’s support system to offer appropriate solutions for the customer within TE’s product portfolio & engineering capabilities



•    Become the leader in knowledge of your customer applications/platforms and technical roadmap. Generate and drive new design/print position efforts based on emerging, new and existing customer programs/platforms, and government contract awards



•    Manage and protect existing production program business



•    Generate, prepare, and present TE proposals (e.g., product selection, design solutions, product specifications, project objectives) to customers



•    Sales territory status and reporting (i.e., book/bill reporting; forecasting; updating/growing opportunity pipeline funnel within CRM Salesforce tool; customer scorecard management)

 


What your background should look like:

 



This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.   



 



This person would need to reside in the Eastern Time Zone.  Preferably in the following Territory States for travel purposes: ME, VT, CT, MA, RI, NH.



 



•    Proof of US Citizenship

•    Valid U.S. Driver’s License

•    Minimum 2-4 years Aerospace and/or Military sales experience is desired, but not required

•    Technical Degree and/or Marketing Degree preferred

•    Willingness to travel (50-70%)

COMPENSATION

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $81,000– $121,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
