OUR CLIENT IN CHATSWORTH, CA IS SEEKING AN ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Our client manufactures and installs windows. The Account Manager will be responsible performing administrative functions for approximately five sales representatives as well as a number of in house accounts. They will be responsible for processing customer service calls for any request or issue relating to their accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a list of responsibilities and functions that are required for the position:
1.1. Process proposals, validating the estimated budget for the job and determine
expected Gross Profit (GP).
1.2. Communicate with Production manager and sales representative to confirm
scope of work and any other requirements associated with proposed job, such as
safety requirements, non-stock materials and special tools needed to produce
work.
1.3. Enter proposals into the company software and prepare final proposal for
customer.
1.4. Review signed proposal and process data into the company software program.
1.5. Make outbound calls to customers (insulation jobs only), communicate appreciation for the business and confirm estimated date & time for the installation.
1.6. Schedule customer's installation with the assistance of the production dispatch team.
1.7. Review daily work orders for accuracy and communicate with installers about any
discrepancies.
1.8. Enter necessary data into company software to Determine Actual Gross Profit on
the job after completion. Generate the job costing data for completed and jobs in
progress.
Generate and mail invoices to the customer for the jobs performed.
Responsible for monitoring the COD jobs. If not paid at time of completion,
. Account Managers will be responsible for collecting outstanding monies for their accounts up to 60 days and forward to Collections department thereafter.
Process credit card payments.
Prepare Rebate paperwork for every homeowner (Windows & Insulation) and
mail with an invoice indicating "paid in full".
Processes Tax Credit paperwork for both Insulation & Windows.
Prepare Unconditional Progress or Final request for paid invoices upon receipt of
payment. Prepare Material Releases as well as Supplier Releases.
Prepare insulation certificates for completed insulation jobs upon customer's
request and fax or mail.
Prepare, fax and mail Guarantee/Warranty requests for completed insulation jobs
upon customer's request.
Process change orders after the job has been invoiced in Company software
program for both windows and insulation and create an invoice for the change
order.
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES
Cover the Reception desk as needed.
Filing documents as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
HOURS; MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8AM-5PM
SALARY: $15.00PH-$17.00PH. (REGULAR REVIEWS 6 MONTHS AND THEN YEARLY).
