The Herald & Review is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to come join our team! As an Account Manager the primary responsibility is to be the communication link between the Account Executive and our customers in order to maximize the Account Executive’s time in the field for more revenue production. This role serves as the main point of contact for customers on a daily basis, building revenue through up-selling and providing exceptional customer relationship management. Account Managers are responsible for lead generation functions, appointment setting and identifying, often times executing, up-sell opportunities.
This position works within a team as a functional partner to one or more Account Executives to drive revenue on assigned team. Account Managers partner with Account Executives for pre-call planning; pre-campaign and pre-proposal support including post sale analysis to ensure all customer needs are met throughout the length of the campaign.
The Account Manager is proficient with various systems and can accurately set up and maintain customer accounts, schedules customer ads and traffics artwork, proofs and copy changes. They are responsible for keeping Account Executives informed and up to date on team performance and client developments.
