Account Manager

Cardinal Intellectual Property has an immediate opening for an Account Manager position. Account Managers are responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships.

Prior sales experience is not required, and recent college graduates are welcome to apply.

Successful Account Managers are excellent communicators who pride themselves on providing exceptional service, as well as their ability to thrive in a team environment.

Position is salaried + commission + bonus + insurance benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Short-Term and Long-Term disability, term flat life insurance and an option to acquire additional life insurance, per company’s group plan), PTO, Company holidays, 401(K) and transportation reimbursement per Company policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cultivate working knowledge of Cardinal’s services.  Services include Patent & Trademark Searching Services, Monitoring Services, E-Discovery and Managed Docketing.
• Grow and maintain business, for all Cardinal services, in assigned law firms and corporations. Current clients include large firms and fortune 100 companies.
• Handle project intake for patent & trademark search services and monitoring services.
• See projects from open to close and communicate client requests between departments.
• Set up and coordinate meetings at sporting events, regional trips, conventions, law firms, corporate offices, and other face-to-face or virtual forums.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned law firms and corporations, while also handling calls to our general line and making outbound sales calls.
• Establish lasting relationships with core clients through calls, in-person meetings, and special events
• Support and create marketing initiatives, as well as various email campaigns.
• Keep account and contact records in Salesforce organized and accurate.

EDUCATION & SKILLS
 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in the operation of computers and applications
• A committed team player with the ability to function both independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to acquire new clients for an organization
• Ability to maintain an account for an extended period of time as a result of client satisfaction
• Analytical, organizational, and client service skills.
