The Territory Account Manager will assist in strengthening AnaSpec's proteomics presence in the Northeastern US by strategically executing our business plan to maintain existing business, obtain new customers, and increase revenue. This position will mainly be focused on B2B customers while maintaining B2C customers.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a highly impactful sales team of a financially soluble company who takes pride in supporting life science research in efforts to improve global health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop account strategies for all existing and new customers (to include the management of key existing accounts and the development of new commercial B2B accounts).
  • Nurture accounts by researching customer buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Provide ongoing input to improve products, services, customer support, and company performance in the marketplace.
  • Work jointly and aggressively with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to "Up-Sell" incoming orders and constantly promote AnaSpec-EGT Quarterly Promotions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is required. Experience with Peptides preferred.
  • Documented history of building effective customer relationships.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with scientists; knowledge of the industry.
  • Ability to travel 15% (overnight travel) of the time within US/Canada based on the assigned territory.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High degree of professionalism; ethical; effective team player; self-driven.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Sales Force preferred.
