ASSOCIATE
 

Our client is a globally recognized investment management firm and is in need of an Associate to provide seamless support and partner Financial Advisors at the office in Uptown Dallas.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year of professional office experience with some experience in the financial industry, and has excellent communication skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate to get started in one of the top 3 industries in 2017, networking and learning from top-tier Financial Advisors.

Our client offers a competitive compensation with a base salary plus overtime, health, and 401K. As this is an entry level position, our client provides a comprehensive on-going train program with classroom and hands-on training ensuring a solid foundation of knowledge and skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Financial Advisors to build business and provide support, including: portfolio analysis, account creating and maintenance, and client meeting preparation.
• Assist with ensuring exceptional customer service at every step.
• Liaise with clients supporting all aspects of their servicing needs.
• Network with seasoned professionals throughout the firm.
• Manage time effectively to meet and exceed deadlines to ensure availability for additional projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1 – 2 years’ professional office experience.
• Prior experience in the financial industry, preferred.
• Available to work a flexible schedule with overtime, as required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; assisting with internal and external phone coverage, as needed.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Computer savvy with excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proven success with heavy client interaction; adapting to different personalities;
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
• Client sponsors required series 7 and 63 licensing.
