Purpose of Position:
The Health Exchange Product Associate provides ongoing product support of the design, development and maintenance of the Exchange product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creates and maintains Exchange product benefit grids
2. Supports the design, development and enhancement of new and existing products across several market segments for the enterprise
3. Accountable for the timely completion of product analysis as requested by the Exchange Operations Director
4. Collaborates with internal and external business units to explain, clarify and provide guidance on the product benefits
5. Evaluate and propose strategies and programs to achieve membership goals
6. Provide oversight and collaborates with the Communications department in updates of member handbooks, Evidence of Coverage (EOC) and Summary of Benefits
7. Compiles database of all member and provider materials for the Exchange LOB
8. Maintains accurate and up-to date internal materials on the Exchange SharePoint site
9. Performs other duties as assigned
1. A Master's degree in Arts or Science with a specialization in hospital administration, health care administration, administrative medicine or in public health when conferred for a program from an approved college or university; or a Baccalaureate degree; and,
2. One (1) year of administrative experience and background; or,
3. An equivalent combination of training, education and experience in related fields and educational disciplines; and,
4. General knowledge of policies and programs utilized in the operation of a health care facility, ability to assimilate and analyze data, to recommend action based on analytical findings, and to assist in the solution of complex problems in health care administration and management
