Job description

We are looking for a BA who has experience with digital product development, particularly consumer web/mobile apps. At other places, you may be called a Product Owner.  Regardless of your title,  you have been part of product teams that create roadmaps for custom digital products and break it down into clear deliverables.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the requirements gathering process for strategic, large-scale web and/or application projects.
  • Work closely with the client, strategy, design, UX, and dev teams from project inception to completion.
  • Ensure business, functional, and technical requirements are captured, organized, approved by the client, and followed throughout the life-cycle of the project.
  • Facilitate internal work sessions & stakeholder interviews.
  • Analyze requirements & identify gaps.
  • Create functional specifications, user scenarios, and process flow diagrams. 
  • Possess strong understanding of web best practices and user experience.
  • Champion Agile development cycles, authoring and testing user stories.
  • Ensure solutions fulfill both the client’s business and the user’s needs.

  • You have a strong familiarity with mainstream web solutions and standard user controls.
  • You have a laser-focused attention to detail, manage your time well, and are extremely organized.

What You Have Done

  • BA experience in digital or interactive teams building custom digital products. Bonus points if you have agency experience.
  • 3-5 yrs experience in an agile development setting. Bonus points if you are scrum master. 
  • Expertise in quality control a plus
  • Ability to decipher analytics data to inform functionality updates
  • Mobile experience
  • Active in the BA/UX community
