Job Description:

As an industry leader we are looking for an exceptional Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. This position requires a self-starter to develop and maintain a sales territory to increase top line revenue and bottom line results. The Sales and Business Development Manager will develop marketing, recruiting and sales strategies to establish and/or expand staffing business in current territory. Responsibilities include maintaining a database of key accounts and remain in constant contact to ensure solutions are provided. 
The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for providing immediate and detailed feedback to team members on all accounts in database. In addition this position will establish short term and long term business goals with the Manager and Regional Vice President. This position may be required to travel in order to cover territory. The Sales and Business Development Manager will make presentations to increase awareness of Supplemental Health Care and be required to retain flexible schedules in order to service clients’ requests and/or handle issues. Hit minimum performance standards per week.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years outside business to business sales experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated excellent negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated experience in selling strategic sales solutions
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods, human resources, and/or similar or relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to travel via car or airplane to cover territory as necessary; travel could be up to 60% within assigned territory, with occasional travel outside assigned territory
