Job description

Position Summary

Cashiers/Counter Staff are responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company standard, generating sales, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards. The Shifts MUST include Weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions and maintaining proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
  • Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
  • Assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise; participating in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensuring re-wraps are done promptly
  • Maintain sanitation of the restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
  • Maintain awareness with menu and special items
  • Communicating Guest requests to management
  • Adhering to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Weekends shifts a MUST

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High School Diploma
  • One to two years, prior cashier experience - Mandatory
  • Adept at using point-of-sale system, making bills and receiving payment
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal efficiently with patrons, coworkers and public
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Ready to work in varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Dedicated and Responsible
