Position Summary
Cashiers/Counter Staff are responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company standard, generating sales, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards. The Shifts MUST include Weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions and maintaining proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
- Assisting in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
- Assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise; participating in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensuring re-wraps are done promptly
- Maintain sanitation of the restaurant including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
- Maintain awareness with menu and special items
- Communicating Guest requests to management
- Adhering to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Weekends shifts a MUST
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma
- One to two years, prior cashier experience - Mandatory
- Adept at using point-of-sale system, making bills and receiving payment
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good interpersonal skills to deal efficiently with patrons, coworkers and public
- Professional appearance and manners
- Ready to work in varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Dedicated and Responsible
