Position Summary

The Lead Cafe Cashier at Griffis Faculty Club is responsible for supervision of cashiers and assistance with operational issues\.

Job Responsibilities

+ Answers customer inquires, resolves issues, and provide information regarding procedures and/or policies

+ Verifies total payments received during shift and reconciles with total daily sales for all registers

+ Counts money in cash drawers at beginning and end of shitfs\. Make change for cashiers as needed\.

+ Supervise cashiers, assist with POS training, approve cashier scheduling

+ Resolve cashier errors, deposit daily cash to Finance department, compile and maintain inventory

Education

+ High School Diploma

Experience

Five years of customer service in a fast\-paced environment

Two years as a shift manager or similar supervisory role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

+ Attention to detail, patience and a positive, customer centric attitude\.

Ability to stand for a long period of time

Ability to work in a confined area
