Job description
Reports to the Rink Supervisor or the Gallivan Center Manager. Provides customer service and cash handling and exchange to patrons at the Gallivan Utah Center Ice Rink.
- Greets patrons and accepts rink admission fees and rental fees for skates and lockers.
- Retrieves & puts skates back in proper spaces.
- Answers all phone calls.
- Stocks cup dispenser, merchandise cabinet and assists with maintaining cleanliness of the rental building area.
- Assist in assuring that rink rules are obeyed.
- Keeps the register key with them at all times. Counts money from shift and drops in safe. Follows Salt Lake City Corporations cash handling requirements.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
- One (1) year cashiering experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the general public, supervisors and other employees.
- Strong clerical aptitude and intelligence.
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Current certification in standard First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or be able to obtain within 10 days of hire.
