Maverik

1001 to 5000 employees

Fillin' up your gas tank and your belly in the Wild West is a breeze, courtesy of Maverik convenience stores. The company operates nearly 300 gas station/convenience stores with an adventure theme in ten western US states: Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. The company aims to grow to 300 stores very soon. The chain takes it name from the comedy-western Maverick TV series starring James Garner that aired in the late 1950s and early 60s. The company is run by the third generation of the Call family and was founded by the late Reuel T. Call, who got into the petroleum business in the 1920s.

Ready to start your adventure? Maverik employees never stop searching for new ways to help customers fuel their vehicles, energize their bodies and gear-up for their next adventure. If there’s a better way to interact with customers, make food fresher or keep stores cleaner, we’re dead set on finding it. Our focus on customers and commitment to innovation earned Maverik the 2013 Convenience Store Chain of the Year award from Convenience Store Decisions.
