### Job Description
Performs a variety of tasks in a busy commercial kitchen. May be assigned to different areas of the operation including patient tray assembly, cafeteria serving, dish room, cart transportation, etc. Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well within a team. Requires MaricopaCounty Food Handlers Card. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures to assure consistency in quality in environment care, infection control, and health-care delivery. Attends in-service classes, staff meetings, and continuing education / training needed to maintain knowledge in those areas.
Qualifications
A. Minimum Education: Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
B. Minimum Experience: Previous kitchen experience in large volume, institutional feeding is preferred.
C. Required Certification/Registration: Must have a Food Handlers Certificate. BLS Certification required. The training will be provided upon hire at no expense to the employee.
