Cashier

The Cashier handles payment and credit transactions as well as appropriate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

1. Accept cash payments on invoices from the parts and service departments.

2. Verify information is accurate on repair orders.

3. Create and issue purchase orders, ensuring all charges included and charged to the correct repair order.

4. Type quotes and other requested materials.

5. Close repair orders daily.

6. Reconcile cash reports.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Three months' money handling and administrative experience.

Type 30 words per minute.

10-Key by touch.
