Job description

New French Bakery is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative for our bakery manufacturing environment. We have built our reputation on our ability to consistently deliver the highest quality, all-natural Artisan breads for over ten years. As a Customer Service Representative, you will maintain good customer relations and perform a wide variety of duties to control and coordinate customer service functions.

Your job duties include:

  • Takes action to resolve such things as problem accounts, shipping and/or product quality
  • Handles customer correspondence via phone and email, complaints, and inquiries with company departments and escalates problems using company established procedures
  • Respond to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information
  • Analyzes and rectifies customer concerns using established procedures
  • Data entry
  • Responsible for order processing, order shipment, credit adjustments, daily reports, and trouble shooting
  • Sends out weekly and monthly customer statements
  • Runs recipes and paperwork for production
  • Prints and puts together route boxes for drivers
  • Daily Quality and complaint reports
  • Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, Associates Degree in Business or in other related field preferred
  • Two years of Customer Service experience is required
  • Working knowledge of computers, including MS office applications. Navision or ERP knowledge a plus
  • Input information into system with speed and accuracy
  • Motivation and a strong desire to drive positive change
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
