Job description

Summary:
The Certificate Specialist is responsible for creating Certificates of Insurance for companies who have appointed our client as their Insurance Broker. Without accurate Certificates of Insurance, many companies would not be able to enter premises, transport products, or sell their goods to vendors. A Specialist carefully reviews requests, consults the appropriate instructions, and issues certificates that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:
• Production processing of Certificate requests
• Process daily work assignments, including ad hoc and renewal requests
• Collaborate with team members to assist during high volume periods
• Provide error free Certificate issuance at all times
• Fulfill client requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Maintain both written and verbal communication with internal and external clients on a day-to-day basis in a business appropriate manner
• Prepare correspondence according to Centralized Services and Certificate of Insurance Team guidelines
• Participate in team huddles, when scheduled
• Communicate issues to the Supervisor immediately to ensure swift resolution
• Participate in other projects/activities as needed
• Position is required to maintain individual quality and productivity requirements

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

·         Excellent communication skills, strong client focus, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

·         Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word

·         Working knowledge of Siebel Systems and MS Outlook is a plus

·         Proficiency with simultaneous usage of multiple applications to gather and populate data

·         Strong keyboarding skills

·         Must have an excellent attendance and employee record

EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma required; College degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience

Austin, TX 78717

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday (7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
