Job Description Successful candidate will participate in a project team performing stream analysis and flood management projects that include hydrologic & hydraulic model review and modeling, report development, map development and review, and data analysis. Candidate should work well in a team setting and be able to provide support to the team in the areas of research, data input, model development, and report writing. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering required. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain an EIT within12 months of hire required. GIS/database experience is beneficial. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel,HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD) expected. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Candidates with experience in stream flood elevation analysis and FEMA floodplain mapping and modeling are preferred. Knowledge of hydrologic modeling applications such as Arc-Hydro,HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HEC-ResSim.
