Clay County's ONLY comprehensive rehabilitation center is expanding its NEW Inpatient Rehabilitation Center. Our new $10 million dollar facility includes 20 private patient rooms and state-of-the-art therapy equipment for stroke, brain, and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. We are looking for Excited, Enthusiastic, and Experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurses to join our team! The Inpatient Rehab Charge Nurse (RN) evaluates, assists, intervenes,plans, and documents patient care. Theywork in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, coordinating and supervising thenursing activities within the department. They act as the Primary Clinical Resource to staff. They work collaboratively with the staffingoffice to support Patient Though-put and Bed Placement. Charge nurses assist in departmental ProcessImprovement, Core Measures and Patient Satisfaction initiatives. Registered Nurses are advocates and health educators for patients,families, and communities. They develop and manage nursing care plans, instructpatients and their families in proper care, and help individuals and groupstake steps to improve or maintain their health. Charge Nurses perform based onthe Nurse Practice Act and the American Nursing Association (ANA) standards.Patient RightsThe Charge Nurse will work to support and protect the rights of eachpatient served, treats each patient with dignity and care, and maintainspatient confidentiality/privacy.Patient SafetyDemonstrates commitment to patient safety initiatives including patientfall prevention, medication safety, National Patient Safety Goals, criticalvalue reporting, and administration of blood products. Patient/Family EducationProvidesappropriate patient/family education, per department and hospital policy andprocedures.Required Education: Graduatedfrom an accredited school of nursing. Level entry training may be an AssociateDegree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in NursingRequiredLicense/Certification: -Florida RN License-American HeartAssociation BLS Health Care Provider-ACLS (within first6 months of hire)Required Experience: Minimumof 2 year clinical experience
