Assistant Controller

NOW CFO is actively interviewing for an Assistant Controller to join our team.

NOW CFO hires accountants to provide professional accounting support for our rapidly growing clientele. We offer bookkeeping, controller, and CFO-level services and support. Reporting to the regional partner of our firm as a key team member, the Assistant Controller-level Consultant is responsible for working directly with clients and leading engagements. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the accounting department through all phases of accounting, including preparation and review of timely and accurate financial statements

• Journal Entries

• Accounts Payable
• Oversight of billing
• Credit and collections processes
• Review and reconciliation of account balances
• Month and year-end close procedures
• Performance of HR and payroll duties
• Preparation of annual budgets
• Preparation and analysis of reports for strategic decision making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5+ years accounting experience
• CPA or Audit experience at a CPA firm preferred
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes
• Exceptional communication skills, project management and organization skills
• Dependable and reliable
