Job description

Ascendum Solutions is currently seeking a senior level highly motivated and driven individual for the role of IBM – DB2 Developer for our client located in the Atlanta, Georgia area. This a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to join a winning team!

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design Documents creation, Offshore coordination, Client interaction, Code Review, Technical Flow, Code promotion to SIT, UAT, Prod
  • Maintenance and operations of the system, minor system changes and larger projects to improve the platform.
  • Assist in the modernization of these systems through the migration of the code to newer technologies and development of improvements in the existing code base.

Requirements:

Mainframe + DB2

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Health Plans, Development

Technical Environment:

·       IBM Websphere MQ

·       IBM MQSeries

·       IPD Ultera

·       Cobol
