Sr. Oracle Financial Developer

 POSITION TITLE: Senior Oracle Financial Application Developer

POSITION PURPOSE:
To work directly with Financial end users and functional Consultants to address business needs and develop long term best practice solutions including designing processes and layouts, validating functional deliverables, creating and executing specifications and test scripts, conducting user testing and guiding junior peers. Ensures that quality software applications are developed, meeting budgets and schedules and satisfying business requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Recognizes and gathers business requirements, analyzes user needs, designs technical solutions including adding new functionality, customization, personalization and system integration and reporting. Validates functional deliverables, coordinates between functional Consultants, Technical Developers and end users.
Provides technical leadership and expertise in a variety of Oracle EBS R12 application areas and technologies including OAF, Workflow, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, PL/SQL and Linux scripting. Develops technical components. Guides Junior Developers.
Responsible for creating and executing test cycles to validate solutions. Assists in system upgrades, leads data mapping and conversion programming. Ensures all solutions and procedures are SOX compliant.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
