The Active Directory engineer will be responsible for being a team member on a project to decommission legacy Active Directory domains, perform Active Directory group cleanup, and perform Service Account cleanup.
Responsibilities: - Perform analysis to determine active users, groups and applications in legacy domains - Work with application teams to migrate applications out of legacy AD domains - Follow detailed domain decommission processes to retire legacy AD domains - Inventory all groups in Active Directory and perform analysis and research to determine owner and application - Onboard all groups into enterprise provisioning system - Inventory all service accounts in Active Directory and perform analysis and research to determine owner and application - Onboard all groups into enterprise provisioning system - Inventory all servers in Active Directory and perform analysis and research to determine owner and application - Identify all users that have privileged access to each server - Work with application owner to develop remediation plan to reduce number of users with privileged access
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or military experience - Minimum of 3 years of Active Directory technical experience - Proven experience effectively communicating technical issues challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences - Experience leading and coordinating efforts and resolving issues across multiple teams - Strong expertise in data analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics or military experience - Experience in VBScript or PowerShell to develop complex automation scripts
