Position Description:
Computer Power Systems, LLC seeks a professional Outside Sales resource for our surveillance cameras, access control and structured cabling product areas. We are located in the Chicago Northshore area and are able to provide services nationwide. The candidate should be experienced in the sale of structured cabling and network security services as well as additional low voltage services. This individual must have a neat, clean appearance and be well spoken with good people skills. This position requires a self-motivated, aggressive individual that is capable of capturing negotiated work as well as bid projects while building and maintaining customer relationships. You will have access to estimators and engineers once the initial contact has been made to complete the site visit and understand the scope of work. You must be relational and must be a hunter to be considered for this position.
Job Duties:
Responsible for exploring new business by networking, cold calling and referrals
Must be able to collaborate with management and customers
Attend system sales training events to better understand our products
Assist in proposal preparation and submittal
Customer follow-up
Travel as might be required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have:
• a minimum of 3 years proven experience in the sales of network security products and services such as video surveillance and access control and / or structured cabling.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and be able to pass background check criteria for and obtain State of Illinois Professional Employee Registration Card (PERC) for Security Alarm Contractor.
