Job description

Please note that this is a 6 month contract assignment. Candidates cannot start an assignment until background check and drug test is completed

Responsibilities: 
• Develop solution concepts and equipment specifications • Design and oversee the design of solutions from conceptualization through equipment manufacturing • Create engineering plans and schedules • Work with key suppliers in sourcing and specifying key equipment elements • Oversee the manufacture of equipment • Prepare final machine documentation such as user’s manuals, testing protocols, etc. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced engineers • Review and generate 3D CAD designs and 2D drawings 

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant commercial product development. • Relevant experience in the development and design of packaging and packaging systems. • Extensive experience successfully working with international vendors, regional support and key customers / accounts. • Capable of leading multiple technical projects. • Technical project management in Research and Development areas. • Technical resource management. • Broad Technical knowledge and hands on experience in functional area(s) • Ability to meet technical challenges with creative and innovative solutions. • Exceptional problem solving and mechanical design abilities. • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers and provide a high level of customer service. • Experienced in on-site installation and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and a work ethic that corresponds with SEE’s core values. • Proficiency in 3D CAD Design (SolidWorks experience preferred) • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Project Management software. • Able to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
