Inventory Control Specialist

H.S Diploma or GED; One (1) year of advanced schooling from recognized computer maintenance / support technical school and/ or equivalent work experience or A+ certification.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Inventory Management. Handle multiple high priority tasks in a fast paced team environment and requires the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision. Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with all levels of employees in the organization.

3 years’ experience with managing inventory.

  • Organizes, monitors and directs the work of stock locations personnel engaged in receiving, issuing and delivering equipment

  • Develops best practices and processes in regards to inventory, asset tracking and audit processes

  • Designs and implements hardware inventory management control best practices for ITAM

  • Monitor inventory stock levels and resolves any discrepancies

  • Ensures that Department Owners receives monthly inventory reports via PeopleSoft

  • Reconciles physical inventories to AMS system; makes adjustments when necessary; audit on discrepancies per department

  • Coordinates  spot checks and physical site audits on van and hot spares in all areas

  • Coordinates quarterly and monthly audits on warehouse par locations (i.e., T-Zone, Depot, Vans, Cages, Cabinets)

  • Coordinates annual aystem wide inventory on Non-Capital IT Assets

  • Will have the ability to communicate and address problems

  • Will be able to enforce company policies & procedures

Reconciliation

  • Equipment and Inventory Management

  • Warehousing

  • Project Manager Support

  • Review and reconcile par levels

  • Ability to investigate inventory discrepancies and determine the causes

  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a weekly, quarterly, monthly basis

  • Traces history of equipment to determine reasons for any discrepancies

  • Briefing Manager on a daily basis
