We are looking for people with fleet/transpiration experience to join the Maven program.
Responsibilities include:
· Assist with development, launch and growth of business operations
· Assist local market ‘team’ operations lead for fleet of vehicles; projected to grow over time
· Coordinate and oversee shared vehicles process to ensure that all aspects of shared fleet are integrated and seamlessly meets the needs of the city, and its base of consumers
· Maintain in-person oversight for fleet of vehicles for shared use by Members in the city location. Focus: interior/exterior appearance, mechanical operation/condition, dynamics of surrounding environment (parking location safety, cleanliness, etc.)
· Assist with local market P&L management
· Accountable for building a strong repeat and referral business
· Driving growth through member referrals and member-driven innovation
· Assists in developing plan to launch new service areas and increase adoption in existing neighborhoods
· Develops strategic relationships – city, business, universities, auction sites, etc.
· Performance management: using systems to deliver results / key performance indicators (KPIs). Based on experience provide insights/guidance into primary KPIs
· Work within new and established processes to manage the upkeep, maintenance, repair and cleanliness of the growing market area
· Assist in analyzing and determining when damaged vehicles should be repaired, to maintain car condition and resale value
· Manage the process of in-fleeting and de-fleeting vehicles
· Analyze market historical data to strategize around model mix and fleet growth
· Lead acquisition and optimization of parking locations in key areas
· Assist in negotiating and managing vendor service contracts to ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired and clean standards
Qualifications
Required Core competencies:
· Strong communication skills in a matrix structure
· Potential to be City General Manager or other in-market Management roles as service matures
· Experience in fast-paced environment
· Flexible to be on-call, as needed – reality of 24/7 operation in start-up environment
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to carry collateral materials and displays
· Market knowledge and competitive landscape
· Uses analysis to make fact-based decisions
· Member service: Takes personal responsibility for member satisfaction
· Bias for action: Identifies and acts on both short and long-term goals in achieving results
· Comfortable with ambiguity
· Emotional Intelligence
Qualifications:
· Car-sharing, car-rental or retail operations experience
· Prior P & L responsibility in a multi-site/multi-unit operation
· Ability to identify, prioritize and focus on critical tasks
· Higher degree of tech comfort and awareness (phone apps, web, in-vehicle)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
· Registration and titling process for fleets of vehicles (preferred)
· Experience working with government, businesses, and non-profits (preferred)
