Technology Sales Representative - Entry Level

As a Technology Sales Representative you will be:

  • Selling highly technical, innovative equipment to solve, automate and make manufacturing processes more efficient in industrial settings or make discoveries possible in the life sciences field.
  • Taking the same passion you had in your engineering or science classrooms to the world of technical sales.
  • Give persuasive presentations that are engaging, create urgency and instill trust.
  • Technology Sales Reps believe that their social responsibility is bringing added value to the clients they serve with innovative products that solve problems nobody ever thought could be solved via one of the most enviable sales teams in their industry.

Requirements of the Technology Sales Representative:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (no exceptions)
  2. Technical background or aptitude (desire to learn and embrace new technologies)
  3. Internal drive that motivates you to compete, pitch in and keep going (fall seven times, stand up eight)
  4. Travel up to three days per week building relationships, making presentations and closing deals (yes please!)
  5. Two days in the office prospecting, making business development calls (where closing deals begins!)

  • $80k+/- average first year compensation ($50,000+ base salary + incentives + bonus)
  • $100k+/- average second year compensation ($50,000+ base salary + incentives + bonus)
