We are a leading media consultancy firm that specializes in producing country focused macro economic reports for Asia’s leading English language newspaper, the South China Morning Post. We were established in Hong Kong in 2001.

What we do:

Over the past 15 years, we have produced over 90 country reports on 27 countries around the globe.

We have met with and interviewed over 9000 CEO’s from leading Fortune 500 companies, small- to medium-sized enterprises, government entities and trade organizations.

International Sales:

This is an international sales position that offers the opportunity to live and work in Asia, Europe and the Americas (spending 15 weeks with your team in each country).

The mission of the international sales correspondent is to gain new clients by fully understanding their needs and persuading them consultatively of the value of appearing in our reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Use consultative sales methodology to negotiate and sell sponsorship packages in our reports and generate US$1 million in revenue a year
  • Achieve 40% closing sales ratio
  • Interview business leaders and conduct high-level meetings across all industries
  • Conduct market research on companies and understand the economic outlook and relevant market trends in different countries
  • Develop expertise in 15 key industries
  • Liaise with clients to develop the content of the report in line with their goals
  • Find 100 leads per week

Requirements:

  • An ideal candidate should have 3+ years of professional experience
  • University Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Must be fluent in English, fluency in other foreign languages is an asset

  • Continuous and quick learner who can build on skills
  • Superior research and analytical skills
  • Team player with ability to build relationships with clients and peers
  • Authentic, trustworthy and good communicator
  • Must be highly adaptable to a changing environment and able to live away from home for 11 months as this post involves living in 3 countries per year, spending 3-4 months in each country
