Job description

We are currently seeking to hire a Southeastern Regional Sales Manager. The region includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana. The person selected will be expected to provide excellent customer service to our distributors, A/E firms and end users in the markets such as petroleum refining, petrochemical processing, pulp/paper and power industries, while continuing to grow the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow current client business
  • Analyze sales statistics, prepare sales forecasts, return on investment
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Report on team and individual performance
  • Assess market competition
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Ability to manage time and territory effectively

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of sales success in the manufacturing environment
  • Possess a solid understanding of industrial valves and their applications
  • Overnight travel required
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to build rapport with clients while negotiating and closing business transactions
