Job description

The Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for supporting the activities of merchandisers, sales personnel, customers, and related workers involved in developing materials, products, and services. Responsibilites include:

Follow up with suppliers through daily e-mail communication about questions, sample status, costing, resourcing and adoptions
Process adoptions by completing style set ups in Product Lifestyle Management (PLM), conducting hand off meetings with Sourcing Coordinators, and verifying all product details and final quotes
Organize and manage archives, write specs, request samples, and update PLM
Manage Presentation Prep by working with the sales team on the meeting requirements and pulling actual products for key account meetings, market weeks and trade shows
Collaborate with the design team and help develop the seasonal line
Review weekly sales reports for overall style performance
Shop the retail competitive landscape to assess the scope of our business at our key accounts
Complete all the tasks as assigned by the merchandise manager as per the deadlines

Bachelor's Degree specializing in fashion merchandising required
2+ years of related work experience or internship equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop
Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) experience preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
