About Opendoor

As the Estimator, you’ll collaborate with the acquisitions and renovations team on every home purchase. You’ll work with our customers, our vendors, and various Opendoor teams, including those in our San Francisco office. You’ll be the face of Opendoor at home inspections ensuring we are creating exceptional customer experiences. 

As the Estimator you will:

    • Conduct in-home inspections and work with our specialist inspectors to determine repair asks on all home purchases
    • Collaborate with our acquisitions team to determine a renovations scope and pricing
    • Work with our resale team to determine the scope and price of all repair asks
    • Ultimately, you will be helping Opendoor determine the value of all our homes

What you bring:

    • Expertise in estimating residential construction and renovations projects
    • Experience in managing residential construction and renovations projects
    • A deep knowledge of pricing repairs and renovation projects
    • A team-first mentality and eagerness to set & meet aggressive goals
    • Incredible attention to detail & deadlines
    • A knack for juggling many tasks, from phone calls to emails to tracking progress across multiple properties everyday 
    • A positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to help grow our business
