Executive Relations Assistant / Events Assistant- New York, NY

A large American media company seeks an Executive Relations Assistant for an opportunity at their downtown Manhattan office. The Executive Relations Assistant will be responsible for supporting the customer service needs of conference attendees throughout the fall of 2017.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Hold responsibility for event preparations, including maintaining records of and shipping registration materials and office supplies, collating and checking credentials, and drafting registration scripts.

· Researches and supports preparation of documents for executives attending the conferences.

· Completes data entry including RSVP status, changes to contact information, registration for sessions at events, and running reports.

· Prepares mail merged communications to conference attendees and conducts follow-up phone calls to collect payment and other necessary information.

· Completes other tasks as assigned by Executive Relations team.

A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience.

· Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Database experience preferred.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
