We are seeking a Housekeeper for our Bellevue, WA community, The Bellettini.

About the Job:

We are seeking an individual with experience to assume the role of Housekeeper. This person will be responsible for: Cleaning resident apartments and other interior and exterior community areas. Assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for the residents, guests, and team members. In addition, WESTliving is looking to fill this position with a person who possesses the following:

Responsibilities

+ Greet residents, visitors, and team members courteously.

+ Clean and straighten offices, and common rooms and areas.

+ Clean sinks, showers, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.

+ Replenish soap and paper products in bathrooms and at hand washing sinks.

+ Clean and dust vertical and horizontal surfaces that collect dust.

+ Clean mirrors and glass surfaces.

+ Collect trash, clean and re-line containers with plastic liners.

+ Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, as assigned.

+ Ensure that resident’s apartments are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and that residents’ personal items are safeguarded.

+ Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.

+ Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to department procedure.

+ Properly store equipment and supplies.

+ Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment.

+ Respect dignity and confidentiality standards and promote resident rights.

+ Clean carpets as assigned.

+ Ensure that equipment and supply carts are properly maintained.

+ Assist others with lifting, as required.

+ Clean storage areas as requested or assigned.

+ Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as requested or assigned.

Knowledge

+ High school diploma or GED

+ One year of previous housekeeping/cleaning experience
