Job description

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for US Micro Products will be responsible for developing and managing the sales efforts for our small and mid-level customers in a defined region. The ISR will also provide business development and outside sales support.

The main responsibilities of the ISR include:

Customer Development and Management

  • Develop, manage, and generate sales opportunities in an assigned territory for our small to mid-level customers and provide support for our outside sales team

Business Development and Marketing Support

  • Perform market research to identify potential customer leads and actively contact potential customers
  • Qualify potential opportunities
  • Provide input with marketing efforts and support at trade shows

Sales, Reporting and Product Development

  • Define customer problems and create solutions to address their needs
  • Generate technical and business proposals and quote packages for customers
  • Act as liaison between customers and our internal team in the US and Taiwan
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability goals
  • Forecast business and opportunities and track customers and sales efforts

Production and Fulfillment Management

  • Work with our customer service team to manage customer orders and supplier responses
  • Provide point of contact for customer production issues

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with managing and prioritizing customers and opportunities

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to do cold calling
  • Self starter who takes initiative and is able to work as part of a team
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend and relay technical information

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in sales, preferably business to business
  • Background in manufacturing
  • Display knowledge
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with Salesforce
