WorldStrides OnStage offers only the highest quality music performance programs to choral groups, bands, and orchestras. Each year over 65,000 students representing thousands of schools participate in more than 100 events across 25 different cities. The OnStage Division is growing and currently seeking experienced Sales and Account Management professionals with a background in and/or passion for music.

The Festival Selection Advisor – Inside Sales (FSA) is responsible for generating new accounts to participate in our adjudicated music festivals. These new accounts are developed via telephone, contacting High School Band Directors, Orchestra Teachers and Choral Leaders. In addition to establishing new accounts, the FSA is responsible for the growth and rebooking of their existing accounts. During Festival Season, the FSA will travel and participate in the execution of OnStage Heritage Festivals events. WorldStrides OnStage provides our FSAs a proven selling system which ensures success while continually improving professional skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new business as well as grow existing accounts
  • Prospect potential customers by telephone; field incoming inquiries; follow-up on marketing-driven leads
    • Effectively communicate the OnStage Value Proposition
    • Recommend specific festival packages
    • Provide clear and accurate program and pricing information
  • Utilize CRM and external resources to research potential new customers
  • Actively maintain and manage a significant prospect portfolio
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation on all customer data, telephone contacts, price quotes and email correspondence within the CRM
  • Travel overnight to participate in festival delivery and execution
  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training to continue to hone your professional knowledge, skills and abilities
  • First year Festival Selection Advisors will act as assistants to the Host Festival Director role during the first year of employment
  • Act as Host Festival Director during the second and subsequent years

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent sales experience
  • 1-3 years proven sales success
  • Music background is preferred
  • Time management – effectively manage time and resources in order to achieve high productivity and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines
  • High-level ability to remain focused and self-motivated during each sales season in order to effectively uncover, qualify, and capture new business
  • Must have a positive attitude, with high energy level and be coachable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as function within a team
  • Must be able to travel and drive an automobile
  • Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) will be required while attending festivals and conventions
