The location for this position is OCONUS at one of the below sites:
Baghdad Iraq, Basira Iraq, or Irbil Iraq
- Conducts protective service operations under the direction of DS/RSO
- All aspects of organizing, managing, supervising, and scheduling assigned PRS personnel at the detail level to ensure that the protective security requirements of the contract and task order are met. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensuring that all PRS personnel, are properly trained, equipped, briefed, and mentally and physically prepared each time they are dispatched on protective services assignments
- Developing and implementing plans for the following:
a. Route surveys b. Alternative routes c. Safe havens d. Contingency operations e. Facility perimeter security f. Foot patrol coordination g. Evacuation 3. Coordinating with and receiving concurrence of DS/RSO on team staffing
issues 4. Evaluating PRS personnel to ensure that all positions/labor categories are
filled with qualified personnel and to identify personnel for promotion into
leadership positions /labor categories, with concurrence of DS/RSO.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Must possess a valid U. S. driver's license and valid tourist passport
- Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in protective security assignments.
- A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a protective security supervisory or in-charge capacity as described below
- The remaining five (5) years of experience can be gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services that require skills similar to those identified in the training course as outlined
- Must possess a minimum of twelve (12) additional months of protective security experience under required contracts
- A minimum of three (3) months of this experience must have been as a shift leader under required contracts
- Must attend and successfully complete required training
- Qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M203, M240, M249, and Remington 870 shotgun, requalifying as required by the task order
- Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance
- Complete the WPS Physical Readiness Test at the 65 % performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of the contract
- Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific.
