Job description

Job Description:Performs daily facility and fixed site general repairs and maintenance, material and equipment inventories. Has ability to perform general maintenance duties [ie; interior and exterior patching and painting, furniture repairs, furniture system modifications, room setups and breakdowns, concrete repairs, minor plumbing and electrical maintenance], biohazardous waste control and removal, clean room decontamination, snow removal and minor grounds upkeep, fixed site inspections and minor repairs. Provide fill-in for courier service and other assigned tasks under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance ManagerQualifications:

A high school graduate with a valid driver's license.

Minimum of 5 years of on the job general facilities maintenance experience.

Must have knowledge and skills in general building maintenance and repairs and minor mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance.

Must have general building maintenance skills, including but not limited to,

painting, drywall partition repairs, door hardware and lock installations and repairs, concrete curb and walk repairs, minor parking lot and fence repairs and general carpentry work

Must be able to perform physical work and lift 70 pounds.

Must be able to handle mail runs (pick up & delivery), pick up supplies, perform courier/driver etc. when required.
