Handyman Maintenance Technician

Premier Placements, LLC is seeking Handyman Maintenance Technicians to join our temp department. No EPA Certification necessary! Our temp employees travel to different properties gaining knowledge and experience. They have the luxury of making their own schedule. They work closely with the rest of the maintenance team to provide exceptional service to the residents of the apartment community. The ideal candidate is skilled in various areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work orders daily that may include diagnosing and repairing issues concerning plumbing, electrical and appliances (excluding HVAC)
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Assist with other duties such as punch/make ready, painting, drywall, carpentry, re-keying/hanging doors, tiling, sheet rock, installation of ceiling fans/light fixtures, maintenance of grounds, etc.
• Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies while following company procedures
• Communicate with office staff on a daily basis to ensure all work and repair orders are being completed in a timely fashion
• Ensure property is maintained and presentable
• Represent Premier Placements, the client and yourself in a professional manner at all times

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Must have necessary tools to perform job
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
