Job Overview: The Facilities Build-Out Technician is responsible for new store set-up and existing store resets as required within a geographical region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for new store set-up and existing store resets.
- Must maintain logs for all assigned stores and required to complete necessary repairs to all building systems.
- Assist in general store maintenance as required and when able.
- Work with Maintenance to ensure all stores are maintained to Pet Supermarket standards.
- Must own your own tools.
- Must be able to travel for up to two week periods.
- Able to work well with others.
Competencies
- Use of standard hand tools
- Operate small machinery
- Usage of paints, solvents, adhesives etc.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Good driving record with periodic checks
- Usage of paints, solvents, adhesives etc.
Education and/or Experience
- 5 years experience in a building related trade
- Candidate to have 3-5 years hands on experience in Facilities Maintenance
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills including email, Word and Excel worksheets.
- Posses competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
