Job Overview: The Facilities Build-Out Technician is responsible for new store set-up and existing store resets as required within a geographical region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Candidate will be responsible for new store set-up and existing store resets.
  • Must maintain logs for all assigned stores and required to complete necessary repairs to all building systems.
  • Assist in general store maintenance as required and when able.
  • Work with Maintenance to ensure all stores are maintained to Pet Supermarket standards.
  • Must own your own tools.
  • Must be able to travel for up to two week periods.
  • Able to work well with others.

Competencies

  • Use of standard hand tools
  • Operate small machinery
  • Usage of paints, solvents, adhesives etc.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Good driving record with periodic checks
  • Usage of paints, solvents, adhesives etc.

Education and/or Experience

  • 5 years experience in a building related trade
  • Candidate to have 3-5 years hands on experience in Facilities Maintenance
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills including email, Word and Excel worksheets.
  • Posses competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
