It's an exciting field with lots of areas where you can grow.Element is hiring full-time Truck Maintenance Technician Service Advisors to work from home. This is full-time position with great benefits. We offer an excellent paid training classroom in your home. If you have excellent customer service skills and technical abilities, we want you on our team.As a truck Maintenance Technician Service Advisor, you will:• Respond to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers and resolving inquiries concerning technical and non-technical work.• Provide service assistance and directions.• Negotiate repair prices when appropriate and issue authorizations for valid repairs to lower the client's truck maintenance repair costs while ensuring repairs which are essential to the safe operation of the vehicles.This position is a customer service oriented position and will not provide the opportunity for hands-on truck repair in a shop environment. Requirements Qualifications • High school education or equivalent. We will consider a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in the automotive/service industry in lieu of the HS diploma.• Active ASE Certification Preferred. Element will consider non-ASE Certified candidates who, as a condition of employment, agree to obtain their ASE Certification within 12 months of employment• 3 years hands-on medium/ heavy duty mechanic experience and 2 years of customer service experience.• Ability to make decisions using established procedures and company policies as guidelines.• Interpersonal influencing and negotiation skills.• Strong computer skills• Team player who enjoys working with clients and suppliers on a daily basis.• Candidates should be available to work evenings, weekends, split shifts and holidays.
