Description
Determines recruiting strategy for the location to include managing labor taffing needs for station. This is accomplished by working with National Recruiting and/or station operations to fill and engage employees for vacant positions.
Plans and insures successful new employee on-boarding to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Monitors record keeping of all employees in compliance with HR Policies, Practices and Regulations.
Partners with Management in all areas to achieve goals and objectives of both the station and the Company
Works with Safety coordinator and Supervisors conduct proper investigation procedures with regard to accidents, safety related corrective actions and prepares necessary HR reports to be distributed to General Manager, Corporate office and proper authorities.
Conducts wage survey within labor market to manage competitive/appropriate wage rate.
Ensures employee separation notices and related documentation are compliant with policy, practice and regulations. Conducts exit interviews to determine reason for separation.
Partners with Management to manage absenteeism, overtime and turnover.
Represents organization at requested related hearings and investigations.
Ensures proper disciplinary actions are conducted in a timely and consistent manner.
Responsible for implementing base AAP.
Manages payroll and Worker's Compensation programs.
Manages training needs for all departments.
Adheres to location attendance and tardiness standards
