Heartland Express in Atlanta, GA has an immediate opening for a Driver Manager.

Our Driver Managers are at the core of our business, working directly with our professional drivers on a daily basis to ensure successful delivery of freight to our customers. This is a full-time professional office role in a fast-paced, service driven setting. This position involves managing people. There is regular communication with a team office co-workers and a fleet of professional drivers, and our managers make quick business decisions every day that are in the interest of the company. Attention to detail, the ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations, and a proactive, problem-solving mentality are keys to success in this role. A successful Driver Manager enables our drivers to make a great paycheck and get great home-time.

Heartland is seeking career-minded, hard-working individuals from varied backgrounds, including trucking, logistics, restaurant management, retail, management trainees, and recent college graduates. Prior Experience managing people is strongly preferred.
