Job description

Bermex, a contract services company has an immediate opening for a Manager in the Austin Texas area. The successful candidate will be a take charge hands-on individual with at least 3-5 years managerial experience. Responsibilities include directing personnel, staffing, training, and maintaining excellent customer services while managing a field service operation of approximately 40 people.
Essential Job Functions:
Assumes responsibility for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the department by:
• Formulating departmental goals, strategies, and operating policies and procedures and directing implementation of approved changes.
• Making recommendations on employees regarding employment, performance appraisal, salary changes, promotions, transfers and terminations.
• Ensuring productivity levels are maintained through effective monitoring of staffing levels and financial requirements.
• Guiding personnel to achieve optimum performance level.
 Prepares the department forecast and monitor expenses with that forecast
 Maintains inventory of tools, equipment and supplies
 Ensures that all vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and proper working condition
 Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to meter reading
• Resolution of Customer Complaints
o All complaints are resolved in a timely manner which is acceptable to our clients.
o All written communication is completed in a format acceptable to:
 Economy/efficiency of operation
 Quality Control Performance
 Production/Personnel schedules
 Maintain a favorable client relations
• Completes Quality Control Audits on field personnel monthly
• Company-Owned Vehicles Responsibility:
o Follows fleet standards and vehicle operating policies
o Control over maintenance and repair of vehicles
o Trains personnel of safety and accident prevention program
o Understands and adheres to all company safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

Qualifications:
• College degree preferred or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

o Effective time management and organizational skills
o Knowledge of computer to input data and generate reports, MS Office, Excel, Word knowledge desirable.
o Effective verbal and written communication skills.
o Team orientation
o Valid driver’s license
