Job description

Motista is seeking an intellectually curious, collaborative and passionate research professional to join as a key contributor to the success of the research team as well as the broader organization. As a Research Manager at Motista, you’ll leverage your research acumen and Motista’s predictive intelligence on Emotional Connection to accelerate top line growth for Fortune 1000 clients. This role requires a true team player who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging work environment and can effectively interact with various departments to produce high quality work, delivered on-time and on-budget.

In this role, you will work closely with Motista’s analytics and client management teams, collaborating on solutions to drive high-quality insights and contributing to the successful execution of project engagements. Responsibilities include project management, contributing to survey writing, insights development, and client deliverables. You will drive multiple consumer insights engagements seamlessly, working with team members to translate findings into actionable business growth opportunities for Motista’s clients.

Who You Are:

You have a ­­­B.S. degree (MBA a plus) with 2-5 years of previous hands-on experience managing a wide array of research for Fortune 1000 clients. You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (SPSS a plus). As a research executive, you’ve demonstrated exemplary skills in project management, research methodology, vendor management, and data analysis. You have a passion for research and a desire to further develop your skills in linking consumer insight to drive business results and action. You’ve also demonstrated a strong track record in developing and adhering to processes to ensure efficient, high quality client deliverables.

Clients and colleagues rely on you take a leading role on projects and initiatives and appreciate your commitment to client success. Co-workers and past clients would note your excellent project management skills and ability to manage complex projects and mine large sets of data. You embrace change, problem-solving and curiosity while collaborating with colleagues and partners to achieve your goals. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, adapting quickly to ensure you effectively balance between competing priorities across demanding clients. Thinking ahead, you often anticipate what the client might ask, want, or need. You are able to write insight-rich reports that are succinct, but also tell a story to convey key messages beyond the numbers.
