Marketing and Sales Officer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

  • To achieve sales targets and actively promote our clients products and services to existing and potential customers

  • To research and identify new markets and sales opportunities

  • To develop strategies for corporate businesses

  • To develop strategies for consumer businesses

  • Direct sales and client liaison for product development

  • To conduct market research including cold-calling

  • To develop relationships with target audiences and to manage customer communication

Campaigns and Projects

  • To lead and manage sales and marketing campaigns

  • To develop and implement agreed research and evaluation

  • To assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns within the approved budget

Communications

  • To maintain and regularly update with the management team

  • To ensure effective use of marketing as part of the company’s overall marketing strategy, working closely with the upper management to increase our client's customer base

  • To lead and coordinate marketing and communications strategy offline.

  • To act as a point of contact for customer inquiries

General and Administrative Duties

  • To attend regular staff meetings

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience/Skills

  • A degree in Marketing is preferable (but not essential)

  • Promotional experience is helpful

  • Proven track of achieving sales targets

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and from different locations

  • Excellent oral and written communication, time-management and presentation skills

  • Ability to deliver results in a timely manner, adhering to tight deadlines and often reacting to last minute changes

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task across several projects and urgent tasks

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and be adaptable to new challenges

  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
