Job description

Our client is seeking a NYS Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Adult or Family Medicine to direct the Health Screening Unit (HSU). As Senior Director, will develop and direct policies, procedures and strategies for HSU and direct HSU's operations, activities and staff. Ensure the overall medical compliance with applicable federal, state, and city regulations regarding health records of students, faculty, staff, administrators and research personnel. Ensure compliance with daily operational standards of health services. This role involves both administrative oversight, especially in the area of compliance, as well as clinical time, seeing patients. The Senior Director will report to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs.

Requirements:

· Master’s degree

· 7 years or more of progressively responsible management experience in a health care environment.

· Certified and registered NYSED NP in adult or family medicine

· CPR and ACLS certification

· Familiarity with FDA industry guidelines and regulations

· Excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills
